Decart Pricing Explained: What Real-Time AI Video Costs Per Minute in 2026
Per-second pricing looks small until you multiply it out. Here's what Decart's realtime models cost per minute and per hour, compared with a flat-plan option.
Decart's published prices (October 2026)
From Decart's pricing page:
- Lucy 2.5 realtime: $0.02 per second, or $0.04 per second in fast mode
- Lucy Restyle 2 realtime: $0.01 per second
- Lucy 2.5 video (offline) at 720p: $0.04 per generated second
- New accounts get some free credits to test the API
It's pay-as-you-go with no subscription, and it's a developer API: you need an account, an API key and your own app or code to use it.
Multiply it out
At $0.02 a second, Lucy 2.5 realtime costs $1.20 a minute and $72 an hour (fast mode doubles that). A weekly one-hour stream comes to roughly $288 a month in standard mode.
How that compares
| Decart Lucy 2.5 (API, realtime) | FaceLive | |
|---|---|---|
| Price per live minute | $1.20 standard, $2.40 fast mode | about $0.56–0.60 on any plan |
| 15 minutes | $18 standard | $12 (Starter plan) |
| 50 minutes | $60 standard | $29 (Pro plan) |
| Setup | Developer account, API key, your own app | Open the studio in a browser |
| Video calls | Build it yourself | Windows app adds a "FaceLive Camera" webcam |
FaceLive's prices come from its public FaceLive pricing page: Starter $12 for 15 live minutes, Pro $29 for 40, Studio $79 for 110, Agency $199 for 280. Only seconds while the AI is live count.
When Decart makes sense
If you're a developer building your own product, need Decart's specific models, or need restyle at $0.01 a second, the API is the right tool. If you want to use a live face swap on calls, streams or recorded clips without building anything, a finished app is cheaper and faster to start. Our detailed cost model is in what live face swap really costs.
